Q. WHY WERE WE CHARGED FOR TIME WE DIDN’T ACTUALLY SPEND IN THE VEHICLE?

Billing Policy: Our charter chauffeured transportation is based on the billable reservation time, ensuring that the chauffeur is exclusively available to you, regardless of whether you are in the vehicle or not.

Q. THERE ARE FOUR PASSENGERS – WHY CAN’T WE JUST PUT ONE PERSON IN THE FRONT?

Passenger Seating Policy: For safety and to maintain the luxury experience, all passengers are seated in the back. This ensures comfort and privacy for everyone.

Q. WHY IS THE PRICE SO HIGH WHEN I CAN GET A CAB FOR LESS THAN THAT?

Chauffeured Service at Jax Black Car : Chauffeured transportation service is not the same thing as a cab company. While there are some similarities, these are two very different businesses.</p><p>Jax Black Car provides professionally trained and screened chauffeurs who are always dressed in business attire. In addition to attending an initial defensive driving course, they participate in continuous professional development. Our vehicles are also newer luxury models and carry higher liability insurance.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR RECOMMENDED PICKUP TIME FOR MY FLIGHT DEPARTURE?

Travel Time and Airport  Arrival:  We recommend that you arrive at the airport no less than 1.5 hours before a domestic flight and two hours for an international flight. Your pick-up time will need to be adjusted for road conditions, weather, and whether or not you’re traveling with children and/or older people.

You may not need as much time if you are a member of an expedited security screening program like TSA PreCheck, Clear or Global Entry.

Q. IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?

Cancellation Fee Policy: Cancellations made within a certain time frame may incur a fee. Please refer to our cancellation policy for detailed information.

Q. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Accepted Forms of Payment: We accept all major credit cards, bank transfers, and corporate account payments.

Q. CAN I REQUEST A PARTICULAR CHAUFFEUR?

Requesting a Specific Driver: Yes, subject to availability. We strive to accommodate client preferences for specific chauffeurs but it is understood that every chauffeur with Jax Black Car Transportation is professionally trained and you should receive the same high quality service from every chauffeur that attends to your service. 

Q. WHY DO I NEED TO ENTER MY FLIGHT NUMBER?

Importance of Providing Flight Number: Providing your flight number allows us to track your flight status for timely pickups and adjustments in case of delays.

Q. WHERE DO I MEET MY CHAUFFEUR AT JAX (AIRPORT)?

Meeting Your Chauffeur at JAX Airport: Your chauffeur will meet you at a designated area, typically near baggage claim, holding a sign with your name for easy identification.. JAX Airport does not allow for chauffeurs to do curbside pickup, each chauffeur checks into a special parking lot and walks inside the airport for Meet & Greet Services.

Q. ARE THERE CAR SEATS AVAILABLE?

Availability of Car Seats: Yes, we provide car seats upon request. Please specify your requirements during reservation.; Boosters for children, Infant to 6 years old, for a fee of $35. All Car Seats must be requested during the original booking reservation or at least 24 hours prior to the reservation.

Q. DO YOU SERVICE EARLY AM OR LATE PM?

Service Availability: Our services are available 24/7 to accommodate your schedule, including early mornings and late evenings.

Q.DO YOU OFFER FREE GROCERY STOPS?

Grocery Stop Service: We can arrange for brief stops, including grocery stops, as part of our tailored chauffeur service at no charge. Please mention this need when booking. If you would like to make any stop during an airport transfer, it must be requested during the booking of the trip and a stop fee will apply. Stops that last more than 10 minutes and unscheduled stops will automatically convert an airport transfer to a chauffeured trip and the billing for the ride will be adjusted to reflect the upgraded chauffeured transportation service. 

Q. DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING?

Smoking Policy:  ALL OF OUR VEHICLES ARE NON SMOKING.  If a passenger smokes within a vehicle, the ride will be subject to a cleaning fee up to $500 Dollars. This includes, electronic cigarettes and vapes of any kind. 

Q. DO YOU HAVE A PARTY OR CLEANING FEE?

Party or Cleaning Fee: Every vehicle including our buses and vans, are inspected after an event. If our Special Events Manager sees an excessive amount of cleaning, the trip will be subject to a cleaning fee of no less than $500. If the vehicle has ANY damage and/or is required to be removed from service for any amount of time, the client will be responsible for time out of service as well as full repair and restoration.  

Q. WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY?

At Jax Black Car, we respect your right to privacy and handle all of your information with care. We will use your information only to contact you regarding your reservation and service, or for exact pick up and drop off locations for the day of service.

Q. ARE YOUR VEHICLES INSURED?

Vehicle Insurance: Yes, all our vehicles are fully insured, providing peace of mind and security for our clients.
